Memecoin wallet tracking vs copy trading

Wallet tracking alerts you when a wallet trades. Copy trading automatically executes trades that mirror that wallet. Social following shows you what people do in a feed. They carry very different risks.

Three different features

  • Wallet tracking — notifications only. Documented by Axiom, GMGN and Trojan.
  • Copy trading — automatic execution based on another wallet's trades. Documented by GMGN.
  • Social following — a feed and alerts of traders' buys, as described by Fomo. Automatic execution is not verified.

Why the distinction matters

With copy trading you are exposed to the tracked wallet's decisions, including deliberately misleading trades. Delay between their trade and yours often means a worse price.
